He announced it on FaceBook, no thread here.
I also quit my job (Was Duke's boss for a few months) on Wednesday. I also felt like throwing up. It was terrible quitting, and leaving all of my great coworkers behind.

this from another forum: (posted on 12/6 )
After a few years of wishing we could get out of Florida, my family and I are finally making that happen. We'll be moving up to Avon Lake, Ohio in a few weeks—just in time for Christmas. Hopefully we'll even get some of that white stuff we never see down here. While I'll be bummed to move away from my parents, we're looking forward to the new scenery, schools and yes, even cold weather. I grew up in Vermont, so what you flatlanders call cold is just a nip in the air.
My last day here at the magazines is tomorrow. I've got a good resume, extensive CV and great contacts from my thirteen years as the technical editor and more recently, my additional duties as the sales director for the two magazines. I'm ready to roll!
I'm hoping to get to the midwest tours—and of course—Nationals next year, although I don't know what car I'll be in. Maybe our 328i in RTR, but I'm always looking for other fun stuff to play with.
If you're used to contacting me via my magazine email address, please take note that my personal email is stigsdad ---at--- gmail.

Wow, he's now about 35 minutes away from me.
If your reading this...If you have any interest in taking up sailboat racing, just let me know.

I'm guessing you need to know at least a little about F cars?
Being in Atlanta would definitely exacerbate my auto addiction...
I could live with that
Per is coming to Ohio? Better bring some good, rust free cars along because there are hard to find around here. Anyway, welcome to Ohio Per.

Who are arguably the best GRMers so it is a good move.

Got a better offer from another company. Still dealing with the same manufacturer, just vintage. 356 and long hood 911 specialist, now.

Woah. Congrats, dude! Are they going to let you continue writing on the side?

Yep, and unlike my previous employer, they actually encourage it.

I seem to remember you bought a car and mentioned an hour drive. My guess is that you are now driving all of I-271 each day.
