I remember the divorce and my friend talking about him having "issues".
Bad shooting near Philly this week as well, also at work for the victims. More evidence that I need a handgun on me at all times.

FTFY, in the manner of modern reporting. Sorry, don't mean to flounder a sad situation. It happened at my wife's place of work about 10 years ago. It was not a good time for anybody, least of all the victim, of course.
We had police officers in our lobby for a few days last week due to an ex-employee not taking their ex-ing very well. The cops are gone but we have more rent-a-cops now.
I never understood how people could get sooooo caught up not only in material things, but also become so violently obsessed with other people.
I've always felt that if my wife/girl left me and I lost my job, and if I really really felt pretty bummed about life, I'd pack up my crap and head west, taking my bicycle with me.
I guess because society also views violence as being tougher and more masculine than crying for a bit, drinking yourself into a stupor, waking up the next day and heading for someplace new.
We seem to idolize revenge and payback far more than "starting a new life."

Yeah cause the Government do everything so well, like the economy, health care,... oh hang on.
Hmm, Let me try that from another angle, Yeah, cause countries that have severe firearm restrictions have no murder/suicides.... um, errr.
No seriously Duke, keep going with your flounder it's working out great.

Yes, it's a total collapse of society. I'm sure it's because he got a trophy for participating in soccer as a kid
Maybe some people have mental health issues? Maybe it has nothing to do about society or how they were raised?

Umm.. I think Duke was commenting on how the reporting was saying guns are bad and the government should take them not that he supported that unless I am misreading...
In reply to 93EXCivic:
Article made absolutely no comment on gun control or anything of the such.
