The deadline to enter our Show Us Your Shop Contest is December 15, 2017! Just five photos and 300 words could win you up to $1600 in prizes.

The rules for our Show Us Your Shop contest are simple: Send us five high-resolution digital photos of your shop plus a 300-word description. (Obviously your cause will be helped by better photos and better words.) Contestants will be divided into three classes: small, large and commercial.

The winner of each class will receive prize packs worth a total retail value of $1600 from our contest partners: Eastwood, CRC Industries and Race Ramps.

Prizes include:
• An Eastwood welding package valued at approximately $600. It includes an Eastwood 175-amp MIG welder, professional welding cart and welding helmet.
• A prize pack from CRC Industries full of various products valued at $500 total.
•A $500 gift certificate to be used toward any Race Ramps equipment.

For more information on prizes and how to enter, go to our Show Us Your Shop contest page.

I keep wanting to do this but have a serious lack of words to describe my garage, besides listing everything in there...300 words... about my car?

Just tell us what you like to do in there. Maybe how you saved space or budget on something. Tell us why you like your shop more than your friend's shop.

A little bird told me we're a little light on entries so far. 300 words and some photos isn't a big price for maybe $1600 in shop supplies!

My shop is just a messy corner of my basement. Only have one picture since I'm currently having the asbestos removed from my old steam pipes and I can't go down there. Does this count?smiley

In reply to PseudoSport :

My garage looks incredibly similar to your basement, right down to the "engine on a stand that I'll probably never get around to putting in anything this decade"

In reply to Ed Higginbotham :

That pic is intimidating. Your shop is clean, lots of cool cabinets and tools.

Would a "build" thread be okay as my small garage is nearing completion .

I wish that was my garage. That's one of the entries we received last year in the same contest. Don't let the photo intimidate you!

As long as it's a 300-word build thread. cheeky
