I have had many people contact me about Jay Leno's accident over the weekend. As I know him fairly well, they thought I might know what the status was. Out of respect, I did not call Jay, but I did talk to one of the guys who works for him who is also a friend.
He assured me that while Jay was injured, the media has overblown the whole deal and he will be fine and make a 100% recovery. I hope this helps relieve some angst that many of us have about America's favorite car guy.

His doctor did a news conference today with updates on Jay's condition. Not surprisingly, Jay's upbeat and is up and around - he was helping hand out cookies to other patients. 
The sound is kind of quiet, you'll have to turn up the volume and/or turn on subtitles.
