A thoroughly abused Evo will cost you 2x as much. That seems like a bargain
In today’s money, this 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 sold for more than $50,000–close to $55,000, in fact.
Today’s asking price? $12,750
.
It’s wearing Belize Green Metallic over a gray interior and looks stock and fairly clean in the photos. It even still wears its “1992 Limited Edition Galant” badge on the dashboard.
With prices on so many rad-era classics getting a bit, well, let’s call them up there, does this represent a more realistic entry into the scene?
Find this 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 offered at Beverly Hills Car Club.
All stock gvr4 is really almost impossible to find. And the USDM cars far more rare than the JDM version. Glad these are bringing decent money now.
Early in 1991, I flew to Portland, OR for a job interview. Hiring manager had a new Galant VR-4. After breakfast, I had to follow him to the office in my rental Chevy Beretta. Definitely added some stress to the day trying to keep up with the Mitsu.
(they did offer me a job in the end)...
I had a 1991 Belize Green Galant VR4 #376/2000. It was destroyed by a hurricane while I was in Afghanistan. I still miss it.

I was 1439/2000. Good times
I guess that dealer has never heard of BAT? I would think that car would easily bring way more than that, even at no reserve...
