We started the cosmetic work on the Saab last night. We’re using a Dupont polyester filler over the metal repair work that we completed earlier. The Dupont filler works pretty well, although we keep mixing up too much to get spread out in the two to three minutes that it’s workable.
The sanding and refilling process takes a long time. Here, we’ve sanded the filler and reprimed as we still have some metal high spots that need to be protected. We’ll work on those with a hammer and dolly and refill.
