MadAss in Motion

Update by Joe Gearin to the Sachs MadAss project car
Apr 5, 2010

Our bright red MadAss arrived recently in a giant cardboard box. Yes, the bike required a bit of assembly, but it was easy, straightforward work. Within an hour we had the little bike up and running.

The MadAss strikes us as the perfect pit/runaround bike: It’s bigger and faster than a scooter, but smaller and more nimble than a true motorcycle. Plus, the aftermarket is teeming with performance parts for the MadAss, so we’ll be able to scratch our hotrod itch with this bike, too. As far as the name goes—well, at least it isn’t called the HappyAss!

Yes, but can it tow someone on rollerblades into a parked car?

Quote: "Yes, but can it tow someone on rollerblades into a parked car?" Would you have to call it a DumbAss then :)

Is it the 50 or 125 cc? Wheelie potential looks good based on seat location. Will a Ninja 250 vertical twin bolt on?

That van would look pretty silly all by itself, but the wagon definitely makes it fit in better. :)
