The ad said: 1966 and 1967 Alfa Romeo GTV and Sprint GT - $1000 (Livingston) My parents are moving to Panama! This means they are selling(or in this case practically giving away) most of their worldly possessions. 1966 Alfa Romeo Sprint GT - Veloce - The pictures of this car are below. As you can see it has a white exterior with a red interior, and is a complete car. The exterior trim is intact, however, it's not on the car in the pictures. My father bought the car from California about 8 years ago, and the previous owner had it for 25 years prior to that. So in the last 33 years, the car has only had two owners. In the 8 years my father owned it, she has only been driven about 10 times and for the last 3 years she hasn't even been started. There is a bit of rust(as on ALL Alfas), but all of the panels(including the floors) are solid. It was in running/driving condition when parked but should be gone through before driving again. This is the 1600cc model with the twin weber carburators and a manual 5 speed transmission. As you undoubtedly know if you read this far, the car has 4 wheel disc brakes and was basically a race car for the street back in 1966. With a little bit of love, this car would make a great driver, or even a great vintage racecar. The 1967 Alfa Romeo GTV (Gran Turismo Veloce) is also white and was destined to become a vintage racer. This one has no interior, but a complete running gear including the higher horsepower/torque engine of the GTV. A new rear clip was installed and the floor pans were replaced professionally, but there is some rust on the body. While the bodywork was being done, the engine and transmission were sitting indoors protected from the elements. Also included is the original fuel tank, and a racing fuel cell. It is a COMPLETE car minus the seats and some interior trim pieces. It is a perfect Vintage Racer as it is already disassembled and you can do it "your way". It has NUMEROUS Spare parts and extras that will convey with the cars. These cars are both complete, but one is still disassembled. It comes with a factory manual on cd, and all of the tune up parts necessary(spark plugs, fan belt, cap and rotor - minor tune up stuff) to get the 1966 back on the road fairly quickly. If you want bigger pictures, please go to http://www.tuningconcepts.com/Cars/Alfas Please reply to this ad by email with your phone number and name and my father will call you back directly. The cars are both located in Livingston TX and come as a package deal with all of the extras as he just wants out of them(he's moving out of the country, remember?). You will need to bring 2 trailers or a 2 car hauler and enough room for a couple boxes of spare parts. Bring him 1000 dollars and you can drive away with 2 vintage Alfa Romeos and a whole lot of character.
