I can't help but wonder where the New England Tin Worm has burrowed its way into the car. From the (two low resolution) photos posted, it's kinda clean.
That's gotta be pretty close to being one of the last ones. Weren't they being sold by Malcolm Bricklin by then?
I'm going to be dangerously close to that thing in about a week...

After 1982, both the X1/9 and Spider 2000 were marketed by Bricklin's IAI (International Automotive Importers). Gone from the world after 1988.

If that car was in Fl, I would buy it ... I always regret not buying one in the mid 90s when I had a chance. I think that was the only one I saw down here too.

I feel similarly about a 6k$ Judge convertible I passed on right out of high school because it had a six pack under the hood and I was worried about gas mileage. What an idiot.
