1988 comanche 4.0 4wd ax15 swapped 1800 obo

$1300 or best offer. 1988 comanche mj, 90,xxx miles. Runs well, 4wd works fine, shifts good. The rear axle was swapped with a Chrysler 8.25, with a disc brake conversion. Front axle was swapped with a Dana 30 non-disconnect from a later cherokee. The Peugeot trans was swapped for the much stronger ax15. I repaired a lot of vacuum lines, a radiator hose, and the intake. Also installed a new brake light switch, which seems to commonly fail on these. Tires have decent tread, and are 30" long trails. Both front and rear bumpers have been replaced with heavier duty bumpers. Appears to have been lifted. Now, for the bad. She ain't pretty. I don't think there is a straight panel on the truck. Except maybe the tailgate. There isn't much rust, but she has a lot of dents. Not dings, but real dents. I think it adds to the look. Please don't be afraid to make an offer. The worst I can do is say no. I may be interested in trades. I like cars and guns. Mostly wranglers and Miatas.

I"ve seen this truck. Pretty she ain't (the truck or Joey) but it's a 4X4 Comanche. A XJ with a truck bed! Runs great and appeared to be quite solid. Heck, even I'm tempted but alas Joey, you're just too far away

Think I may keep till the fall. Maybe a 4wd will sell in tj snow better.

IIRC, I've got like $675 in the suspension. I'd need that back out of it. I bought it from CGLockRacer here on the boards. It's used, but in good shape (think it has like 13k street miles on it). I don't think FM sells this exact setup anymore.
