HNNNGGGGGGGG

IT'S GOT THE GAUGE CLUSTER!!!!!!!

I want this so bad words cannot explain.

If anyone is even halfway looking for one of these, BUY this one if it's anywhere as nice as it looks in the pictures. I've never seen one this nice for sale, ever.

The blown turbo isn't a big deal if everything else is ok otherwise. Just grab an MX6 GT/Probe GT/626GT center.

Is this some kind of uber-rare item?

Edit: Because it's digi, brah?

I have sent out an email. Looking to go see it this weekend hopefully if the seller gets back to me. Any Unobtainium parts Swank? What should I look for?

This one has been on Craigslist in the area for a while...

I don't think the GT had as many unobtanium parts as the GTX. It was more of a hopped up 323 than the rally special of the GTX.

However, if you look off the the bottom left of the dash picture, there is a set of buttons under the vent. Looks like some sort of adjustable shocks. That might be the biggest unobtanium on the car.

Damn, this makes me miss my GTX.... It had the digi dash too.

Dunno if it's rare but it's awesome!

In reply to Mazdax605:

No major unobtanium. The shocks like were mentioned, but I'd upgrade them anyways. The big difference between this and the gtx Is that if you blow this, 1.8 stuff is easy and gives you more parts.

Could it be made to compete in the challenge at this price or less with the issues it has? Feasibly that is? What if I traded my Corolla liftback for it? How would I come up with a value?

Yeah, it's like a "street/sport/race" setting or some E36 M3. I can't tell that it does anything.

Yep easily!

Some kumhos, sell off some crap, throw a vj11 at it, go to challenge. Might be able to sell the profec off for enough to do some suspension stuff.

Easily a midpack car with almost no work.

In reply to poopshovel:

It does if the struts are in good shape. The mx6s had the same thing. Way back when people used to mod the servos to go well past "sport mode."

You clearly have never seen me drive!!! There is no way I could get even the fastest car out there to a mid pack finish. The seller says the car is undriveable with the failure of the turbo. How can I tell if the car is any good without at least a test drive?

Compression test and just make sure it goes into all gears is about all you can do. Inspect eveything extra thoroughly.

Because no test drive, start offer at $1200, bite at $1500 for a good deal assuming it all looks decent, be happy at $1700, pay $2000 if the car speaks to you.

And you know there's pro drivers at the challenge right?

Pro drivers?? Huh? No I didn't know that. I have never been there.

Most people at the Challenge have the pro drivers do the Autocross and the lightest person on the team do the drags. It's fun to watch all the pros try and figure out the best way to drive some of the concoctions that people bring, especially the cars with more than one engine.

Awesome. I've got one that's giving it's life for the Festiva. Is the suspension valuable enough to bother just yanking the whole front and rear subframe? I had planned on just looking for anything GT specific to throw on ebay.

Ehhhh.. you could pull the struts, servos, and control panel. Wont sell quick but if it's all good, could be worth a couple hundred. The struts are the hard part to find in working shape. The rest not as much.

I wouldn't pull anything else. Maybe swaybars, I think they were bigger but not positive.

The ad says it already has KYB GR-2s on it. He just didn't replace the AAS switch with the coin holder that goes there.
