The old school trick was a 280ZX Turbo motor and trans. Some good shocks, springs, and sway bars, TC Kit and you had a Maximum Maxima.

Its autocorrect he was trying to say coilover
I have always had a soft spot for these cars. That thing will handle decently with the suspension goodies the car has. Those alone are worth more than 400 bucks.
SOMEONE SAVE THIS CAR!
I know where there is one sitting around, too. I was interested in it, but finding modern wheels and tires that fit is a chore.

Aren't they 4 x 114.3? Seems like lots of wheels are being made again in that size. For instance, you can get all those newer Enkei "classic" styles, like the Apache and 92, in that bolt pattern.
If they are simply 4x114.3, then B15 Sentra SE-R 17" Wheels would be an easy button for wheels.
Also, the Cube 4 spoke (16" I believe) wheels would look like pretty cool IMHO.
Another option would be 15" Infiniti P11 G20 "Meshies"
All 3 should be direct fit. Getting 17" wheels under it may be a challenge, but I think it would be worth it when it comes to tire selection. All of those options should be showing up in Pull N Pay yards at this point.
Also, Imma just leave 'dis here for inspiration...

Wait...Whut...?
Are you saying that they changed the wheel bolt pattern from 4x100 to 4x114.3 when the Sentra changed from B14 to B15? That seems like a weird thing to do. I know the B14 had 4x100 because my wife had one, and I put its wheels on my AE92 Corolla wagon, which I know will accept AW11 MR2 wheels, which are definitely 4x100. (If A=B, and B=C, and C=D, then...A=D. Right?)

Yep, my G20 had 4x114.3 wheels. The easy button for bigger brakes on a G20 were B15 SE-R wheels. There were 2 variants, the 5 spokes I posted, and the heavier (though, better looking IMHO) 6 spokes:
As seen here, on a P11 G20
And, while I cannot comment specifically on B14 bolt pattern, I will say that Toyota compacts of the 90s were 4x100. I owned a 95 AE101 (Corolla) that I can confirm was 4x100.
This is my friends V8 Maxima he got off the board.
They are 4x114.3. These 15x8 konigs fill out the fenders pretty well.

I remember that one. Is your buddy still rocking it?
