Advanced Auto came through for me with a replacement battery so I've got that going for me.
Found this really sweet almost perfect sized piece of cardboard to mock up my spoiler.
Sweet.
I think to actually work they need to be about 12"-14" tall and angled pretty steeply. Like 60-70 degrees. Note the cut out in the middle.
Bonus points if you make the actual spoiler out of that cardboard combined with a lot of carbon fiber vinyl wrap for a combination of finishing and weatherproofing.
Hey, it beats plywood.
In reply to John Welsh :
Hmmm I still have a huge roll from the last Lexus of carbon fiber vinyl wrap.

Why the cutout in the middle?
Too see out back, Clear works also.

I drove a commercial truck for a few years, rear view mirrors are overrated.
In reply to Andy Neuman:
Also you don't need rear view mirrors if you're in last place.
In reply to Stampie:
If you aint first your last.

I approve of orange wheels.
If you bomb the car red, you have to come@as Ronald McDonald and have the wife be the cheeseburgler.
This weekend I made great progress after working 6.1 days like normal.
Turned this
Into this... only took 6 years.
I actually approve of your taste. I'm a mid century modern type guy.
Bad news today the Lexus lost power going up a hill. Not that it doesn't run and drive but it is missing, power, consistency, lots of things.
Mass Air Sensor?
Screwing up the air fuel mix and therefore running rough, odd and inconsistent.
Any codes?
In reply to John Welsh :
No cel, but I'm guessing it's in the ignition system since it feels like it's running on four cylinders.
Ordered new coils, ignition rotors and distributor caps. Always sucks to have to include things like this in the budget but that is life.
I mean, this kinda sounds along the lines of invoking the "i started with a good alternator, it died while driving car around and wasn't a reason the car was cheap, stock replacement is no hit" no harm no foul just get there idea.
In reply to Patrick:
I've only put 1500 miles on the car. If I put 10,000 on I'd consider trying to argue that point. I'm just going to need a cheaper nitrous kit.

Was that some kind of paneling on the upper part of the walls in that room in the before shot? I like how the room looks now.
Oh, and good luck with the car.
In reply to pres589:
It was just a golden colored paint before. I never really minded the old colors but the Fiancé didn't like it so it changed. One of the few rooms that hadn't been repainted or changed in the 6 years I've lived there. I did have a room that they glued wood paneling to the bottom half of the wall. That was a disaster.

Hmm. The vertical lines in the "gold" picture made me wonder what was going on there. Paneling glued to a wall does sound awful. Probably easiest to just bust out the drywall and replace wholesale?
This reminds me that I never did quite finish the painting in one of the bathrooms (in the condo I rent...).

How else are you supposed to know you're about to get lapped?

I think that's light reflecting off the chandelier. I used to have a nearly identical fixture.
