Would rear arms from my Europa help get ya to the challenge? You'd probably want to swap in air-cooled VW hubs/stub axles. I think it requires a little machining, but it's been done.
Does shipping cost factor into a challenge budget?

They might. Do you still have the stock springs and shocks?
Where are you located?
I'm in CT.
I do have 3 shocks and stock springs. One of the rear shocks is pretty bent, but you could use it for test fitting. Bilstein S6G looks like a pretty good drop in replacement though.
If that front shock is anything like the other one I had, it's completely blown, but give you something to reference when shopping for something good.

That stuff could be helpful- especially for mocking up a few things.
Would you be willing to ship to 29072? (I would pay)

That's what I'd recommend for a suspension setup in a post challenge environment. Miata rear suspension, set at the appropriate ride height in the chassis is a bit of a known commodity.

The builder of the half tubed rear Europa you posted pictures of currently has it listed for sale in one of my Facebook groups and seems to be replying to questions. You may be able to pick his brain via messenger.
Let me know if you want the link via PM.

Just checking in to see if my email made it through. If not, I'll try to find another way to get it to you.

I have a love/ hate relationship with rotaries.
Total respect. But I don’t like being near them. (Hate the sound)
What trans would we mate it to?
Same here
Just peeked in here and saw one of my old Lotuses getting some work.
Here's a pic of it shortly after I bought it and was moving into a new house (garage not setup yet), along with my Seven which I just got out of storage.
And a little inspiration, my other Europa went from nice street car to caged Vintage legal racecar.

Thanks for stopping by! To get fully up to date, check out the latest thread after it changed hands (yet again) to me last year.
Also I think mine came with those same wheels. Which means you probably bought them in the first place!
