I learned a long time ago to keep a spare set of clothes either in the vehicle I'm working on, or in the shop I'm working in. Too many cold drives home with no pants, because they got soaked in gas, or oil, or warm beer.
Oil soaked pants may or may not make great fire starter though...

I had a spare set of clothes at his house that we couldn't find.
The pants where probably pretty flammable, rear end job on jeep plus doing a valve body on a truck.
Thankfully it's a 3min drive home..
Went to the junkyard to get a couple jeep parts to fix the HVAC controls not controlling anything.
Found some hinge covers for it.
