Until you have done a project of this magnitude, it is hard to understand how much work goes into it.
One of the reasons I keep a build thread of the Molvo is so I can go back and see how far I have come, one small bite at a time, because some days it does not seem like fun.

Omigosh, yes. If you look at what you have to do, you would be overwhelmed and never even start. You just have to look at what has to be done immediately and do that the best you can. New video later today-IT'S PAINTED!!
The frame is painted:

It is awesome, great feeling to see color going on the chassis I'm sure. From where you started, it has come a long ways. Can't wait to see it done.
On a related note, I had thought about doing something crazy like this with my 75 MGB, but after seeing what you have done, I figured it would be better to just use the B as a reference/guide and build a dedicated racecar from the ground up.

Yes, it's sad how I put so much effort into the original steel car only to cut it all up and re-do for this version. A big regret is not just saving that car as it was, with V12, and building this car on it's own. I didn't realize how stiff the competition was in EMod. But, that's water under the bridge, I'm really happy with Pink Panther 4.0 and it should be fun and fast
I have started to put it all back together. Some bolts get thread lock, others get anti-seize but everything has to go slowly and carefully so I don't scratch the surprisingly fragile paint.

Looks great! I have found paints often take some time to build hardness. What paint did you use on it?

I took a picture of the data sheet for the paint

In reply to loosecannon:
Yeah with urethane's they are moisture cured, so it may take a few days to get 'hard'. High heat and a bit of humidity will help, but it will get there.
I am about 14 hours into putting the car back together, here is where I am at

Mattastick wrote: Maybe I missed it, but what's the wheelbase of pink panther v4?
In EMod, you are required to run the wheelbase of the car you are declared as being. In this case, I am a 1967 MGB so my wheelbase is 91"
DaewooOfDeath wrote: You probably mentioned this before, but what program/method did you use to design your chassis?
The frame was designed with Grape and the suspension was with Performance Trends
A few more bits and pieces are on, it's getting close to running again

Saw that you're planning to paint the intercooler. If you're going to do so, they make radiator paint that is supposed to minimize the heat transfer hit you take with paint. That said, I'd need a compelling reason to take any hit on that front.
There is a lot of discussion about the topic of painted intercoolers and it generally comes down to: IC's painted flat black show measurable drops in temperature but also show an increase in heat soak. So, in my case, my intercooler does not sit in a hot engine compartment, or where sunlight can hit it or beside a coolant radiator where heat can be transferred-so I'm not worried about heat soak. All that said, I can easily strip it off if my power isn't what it's supposed to be
The car is together and running. The floor was tricky to get lined up properly and I am still having some odd problems with a fuel pressure sensor but it is running a I'll be driving it soon. Check out my custom brake lines

Part 5 of assembly https://youtu.be/MvmGVstWyCU
Yesterday was hours and hours of tracing wires, re-doing ground cables and testing....all for nothing. I still had the same fuel status fault and the engine would make no more than 7 psi of boost. Today started out the same except I loaded an old tune and it worked, the fuel sensor problem cleared up! It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, check out the video: https://youtu.be/cTeJS-1zlhU
