Best way to describe it is 350z death cart using 1925 Model T frame rails. I know not normal but for Challenge rules and budget it’s what I have to work with.

Probably measuring center to center of u joints of shaft length needed and typing in "43.5 driveshaft" and finding the one you need.
In reply to DeadSkunk (Warren) :
If you search eBay for "u-u driveshaft" you'll get a bunch of driveshafts that have been measured center u joint to center u joint like Patrick said.
In reply to Stampie :
Thanks . That's useful. What does "w-w" refer to?
Edit: Never mind ....I'm a little slow at times, but I figured it out.
In reply to DeadSkunk (Warren) :
Took me a bit to figure that out also. It's weld to weld if anyone else is wondering.
Today was supposed to be build a driveshaft in the junkyard day but instead it's stay at home Covid-19 day.
Sometime in the last few months I was thinking about the 26 Model T and realized I'm a dumbass that never checked the spark plugs. I thought you know I'm willing to bet Mark stored it with oil down the cylinders. Pulled number one plug and yep covered in oil.
About this time I was hearing someone yelling at me from above.
I'm not fluent in red headed woodpecker but I got the jest that she wanted to know if I was just working on the Model T or if I wanted to eat her babies. I explained I was just working on the Model T and she seemed cool with that.
So pulled the rest of the plugs and they're all the same.
One advantage of having a kid that grows multiple shoe sizes in months is you have a lot of too small socks. They are great for stuffing into spark plug holes.
And now the plugs are soaking in 87 octane to be put back in later.
I kinda forgot about these so the jar was still sitting there. The gas just got a little dirtier.
I used a toothbrush to clean them up but still a little residue.
So out came the torch and burned that off.
The finger bolts for the spark plugs didn't want to tighten all the way so I chased their threads and cleaned the copper terminals on the wires. After that I put them all back in.

You're going to be disappointed ... we don't have any ethanol free gas. The closest one is the boat ramp about a mile away but we're on self quarantine so it'll have to wait.
Lil Stampie wasn't quite getting the 1925 350T vision I had in my mind. We did a mock up.
Added bonus is I think I can get the wheelbase down to ~90 inches instead of 98.

Looks spot on to me.
Your crazy middle-aged Santa look is coming along nicely.

I'm glad y'all could work it out. While they can be annoying, she looks pretty, and seems to have the right attitude!

Your neighbor's GMC van looks pretty rust-free for the Midwest.

She now has as least two babies that I can hear and she's cool with me. That or they're running her so ragged she doesn't have time to berk with me.

1800 miles in 37 hours. We're beat. That's a long ass shopping trip for roll cage tubing.
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
Whew, long trip. Did Lil Stampie at least split the driving time with you?
In reply to TVR Scott (Forum Supporter) :
I offered but the mofo kept pointing out that he can't legally drive for 4 more years.
Hobie was looking for an excuse to have a garage party. Sounds like a good idea to bring your tubing and chassis down and have a tubing bending and notching party.

I was going to text you and see when it was a good time for us to come down. Honestly I think if it's cool with you I might come down twice. I think I can get the main hoop dimensions pretty close but it'll be a while before I'm ready for the rest of the cage.
