Jeremy had tires mounted near the hotel last year.
Andy Neuman said:I have a set of 205-55-14 hankook ventus autocross tires that I purchased new for my $2014 challenge CRX. $100 never used for the set of 4. They have been in my basement the entire time. 2014 was the fiero year.
I also have a set of used 245/275-17 hoosier R6 tires that I'd let go for $50.
I want those 14s from you. Need to figure out how to transport them (ie figure out how much fits in a Saab truck).
singleslammer said:I am looking for a set of wheels for the Jag XJR6 that I am getting this weekend. It is 5x4.75 with a 74mm center bore and stick a +32 offset. No idea what would fit. I have a set of 18 in autocross tires I got from Stampie last year but no wheels. Or if someone has a set I can borrow/buy real cheap that would be great too. No need to find a place to mount these stuff tires in Gainsville.
Aren't the stock wheels big fat 18s already?
Otherwise it sounds like this corvette stuff should fit pretty well.
In reply to Robbie :
The stock wheels are 17s but those are long gone, except the spare, and this one is on 98-00 base model 16s. I can't complain too hard though as they should have good tread and the car is only $1k.
In reply to Robbie :
I can bring the 14" tires. Just bring a few straps to tie them down.
Are you planning to run the Chop top challenge with your saab after the challenge?
In reply to singleslammer :
GM RWD wheels, are what your liking for. Camaro & Corvette are the most common wide wheels.
Oh yeah...I have both right and left complete head light assemblies with working motors available. 1989 c4 corvette.
I'm like patrick in that I ain't hauling stuff to challenge unless somebody wants it.
In reply to GVX19 :
Yep, I have been looking for those. The issue is that most of the stock rims have too small of a centerbore. I need 74.1mm or bigger and most of the GMs are in the 60s from what I have seen.
I have some stuff that is up for grabs.
Mk3 Supra w58
4-15"x 6" 4x100 steel wheels off a Mazda2. Clean and straight.
Anything that can be cut out of flat metal. The CNC plasma has had most of the wrinkles sorted out.
Bumping.
Who else needs things? So far i'm bringing 6 tires, 5 wheels, and I can't remember what else but anything else i can bring that's large and in my way will be cheap up to the point that I can't pack anything more.
Hvac guy? I have some full refrigerant cylinders (r500, 401a) that i'll sell for half the going rate on ebay.
I have some wheels. American racing billet early 00's stuff. 17x8 4" bs and 17x9.5 5" bs 4.5 and 4.75 bolt circles. 0 miles but mounted(front have 245/45 tires) $150 for all 4 no caps.
Have both types of 93+ s10 15" aluminum wheels $50 a set.
Plastic 20 gallon fuel cell $15
beer keg $15
sbc stainless block hugger headers $25
sbc performer intakes 50 each
5.3 heads $10/pr
In reply to Patrick :
I need a car that runs 9's and can still handle a little for less than $2000 can you bring it?
Other than that I'm starting my search for a MIG welder.
Pat:
Pics of wheels? The billet ones.
Also I am bringing the tuned Port computer for Stampy, 4 Hoosier slicks for Pat, I Miata engine and top for yupididit, shocks and sway bars from a C5 Corvette for Pat, and it seems like I'm forgetting something else. Have a whole anybody else I bring them anything at the challenge?
I could use a mini spare tire, jack and lug wrench for a current body style Grand Caravan. Seems they don't all come with those any more.
In reply to Danny Shields :
I'll have to double check whether they are repops or factory. They were on my 1987 911 requiring spacers when I bought it and I immediately replaced with fuchs. They are not concours with a little light curb rash but are straight and tru. Good for track duty. I know they're not going for much whether real or repo.
Of course carry GRM heavy discount
In reply to Patrick :

3200-3400# and 700rwhp sounds better....
If you could find a China copy 7875, you'd be in the ballpark...

Have truck, dont have time to do anything except load car and parts and go. Have an addition that just passed rough framing inspection that must be done before i go to Florida. Add put new tires on the ram to the list, backs are beyond wear bars because I didn't rotate them. Ever. Was planning a more snow friendly tread before winter anyway, but i have some coming Wednesday to be safe on the long haul.
