We had a chance to check out Jerry Seinfeld’s former 550 Spyder  at last night’s meeting.  It’s all original, with only 10,500 miles on it. This is the car that sold at Amelia Island for $3.35 million.

While I certainly understand the appeal, I'd rather have a collection of modern 911s for the price.  But I am not filthy rich, when I am, I will see if I change my mind.

Are those bumper lights LEDs?

I"ve seen the car.  When I was there we were told no photo's to be shown online.  Some amazing other cars there too.

I would imagine they are. I believe improving visibility to other drivers on the road would be considered paramount.

Those are original front turn lights , not led , I have a couple rear red ones here,

The led look is the lights reflecting off the inside lens which has a pyramid pattern

Porsche beehive lights. They show up much better at speed and in the day/dark then lights of the same era.

There seem to be contradictory answers on whether they are LED lights...

I just looked up the invention date of LED lights and Wiki puts it at 1963.

Those aren’t LEDs. They were probably made by the same people who made early Beetle tail lights.
