teuck is on ground
rear is all done
I woud upload tons more pics if this website wasn't so horribly painful to upload pics to
Botched oil pan replaced
New oil pan seems to work. I ended up going with a modern 351 W oil pan. I did a dry fit to confirm all bolt holes and clearances. So far everything looks good.
I’ll order the gasket and get everything installed. Main difference is the oil dip stick moved from the passenger side to the driver side. I’ll have to order a new dipstick tube for it.

Thanks, me too! Hope I can finish it next month and cash it out, before the people become poor with x mas shopping

Come on over anytime. It is commercial rental space. After Covid, its pennies on the dollar, to rent. :)

Thank you. Turning out a lot better than I expected. I am not a Bronco guy, but a Land Cruiser guy. But so far enjoying it.
Made more progress today:
Got a lot done this weekend
but first put some new parts order:
Power steering kit is somewhat installed. I need to order or make a bracket for the power steering pump. Easy fix.
I’m going to change the hardware on the pulleys, need longer bolts with lock washers. I need a bracket for the power steering pump it’s goes on the head here.

Thank you! Agreed. I think will really dress it up :)
i can almost see the finish line
Small setback today
More madness regarding the bronco transfer case. Turns out its been rebuilt poorly in the past using random parts. It had USA made timken races with Japanese Koyo bearing. I prefer the Koyo. Regardless, I wouldn't ever mix parts like previous owner. Also front output shaft is from a 73-77 Bronco, and mine is a 72. New bearings I have do not fit the shaft I have. After a little self debate, I am going with the original as thats easier. Ebay to the rescue $60
