I just bought this rough but mostly rust free Triumph Spifire and it came with these attractive alloy wheels. Anyone have an idea on brand? Thanks.
This list has one that is similar but not an exact match.

These KN Hurricanes look similar but obviously a different wheel
They look like they might be from a Jensen Healey.
The Spitfire has an oddball 3.75" or 95.25mm bolt pattern shared with little else (Marina, TR7/8, GT6, some Lotus models and a few home market Austins, oh and the MG F).
yeah, they look OE off something...
I spent 10 minutes googling Cheviot, but didn't find anything there. They look vaguely familiar...Renault-like sorta kinda thing...Off to google Fuego now.

That was my thought as well.
...but they are a bit different, now, aren't they?

I believe that they are a set of Exacton's...
*EDIT
either Type S.A. Sport Alyte's
or
Type S.L. Sport Luna's
Exacton looks correct! Thanks!
Here is an ebay auction out of the UK. The photo doesn't show but this is it.

seems to say they were fitted to Sunbeam works cars.

Same three pics that I found.
What's that you want? Answers to useless trivial questions? You've come to the right place, sir- there is no knowledge that cannot be gained from the GRM forum.
Amazing eh? Ask about some obscure wheels not made in decades and have you answer in a few short hours!

Sometimes it takes a bit.
I searched for '1970's British alloy rims', then '1970's British turbine rims'...found a pic of a Limited Edition Mini that had similar wheels, found the make, searched 'Exacton'...and found the above three pics on a LBC forum.
*Oh...and did I mention that I hate these threads?
