Hello people! We are a team from Greece and we are working on our entry. I am Thanos Pappas (the junior designer) and my chief is Konstantinos Malandrinos. We haven't decided yet on our roadster's form, so we thought we should post some ideas. Tell us your opinion . We see that we have some nice competitors out there!
we will post more soon ;)

Hmm, I actually crested the fender before the wheel opening on purpose, in order to give it a different non-traditional look. I realize this is non-standard. Is that a functional issue, or is your concern more of a widely held design taste.
Anyone else take issue with my cresting of the front fender before the wheel opening?
Found this on the Scratch Made Cars forum
Something like this would be cool for the 818.

Aw crap man! That's a lot what my 3D model looks like - window shape, cut on the bottom, flat rear fender arc to sudden front fender arc.
Except theirs is better!
Poop. Poop forever.

Xabier, I thought your pencil design was dumb and boring.
Now that it's all together, I am just totally amazed. It's not too flashy, not too esoteric, not too retro, not too macho, not too feminine, not too American, not too Japanese, not too European, not too turkey, not too salami...
It's just right dude.
I'm now only going to follow through with my design just so I can experience the process, with absolutely zero hopes of even being recognized - but if you win, you really deserve it. It's just a very classy, clean, and economical design. Seriously, congrats!
xabier - I've really enjoyed all of the stages of your work so far, and really like the last version in blue! Keep up the great work!
Two comments:
1) The tank really needs to be moved from under the seat. No one wants to drive a sports car but feel like they're sitting in a minivan or SUV. I for one would have no problem dropping a few extra bucks to get a proper fuel cell to install in the front of the car.. or even in the rear above the transmission (should be room there).
2)Xabier... Amazing design. It looked good as a sketch but the color renders really bring it to life. I would drive that any day :)
I'm still puttin' along in 3D here, though xabier's recent post sorta makes it seem sisyphean. Never really finished a car in full res - only built low poly crap for games. I'm not so good at it. Ha, regardless.
I added some 'umph' to the front fenders like 'yall mentioned, and a tiny bit to the rear. I'm gonna stand my ground on the sloping rear end though. I don't know why, just gonna do it. I'm basically a stubborn little donkey.

I realize you're new around here and maybe you're only here for the contest, but we typically use our manners (unless it's about politics) and treat folks with a bit of respect. Especially when they are offering a rather large sum of money to the winner.
Thanks for the input. I'll never submit a drawing, but I hope someone uses my ideas. Not trying to offend. Just trying to be factual.
I realize for almost everyone here the over-explanation sounds condescending. Sorry 'bout that. I just try to break stuff into the simplest nuts and bolts, so I can understand it.
In reply to Typecast_wookie: I think the roof pillars could do with a bit more meat imo
looking good
Ok so I've been following along with this for a while since I seen it on Autoblog finally decided to post a few of my sketches up before I decide which ones I'll do in more detail All feedback is very welcome!

I like your design quite a bit, very elegant and very clean lines. 2 things that get me though. your roofline looks really high, I think lowering it a bit would make the design much more aggresive in stance. and second your front end design looks like its going to cause a lot of aerodynamic lift with that shape (the lower most edge being pulled back under will cause a high pressure area leading the car and cause the front end to lift at speed, possibly ad front splitter?).
It is a very nice concept, with ferrari and lotus influences and the 3D model quality is great! However it is supposed to be a spyder, have thought of it or are you thinking to leave it with the top?
Thank you Franze for the comments. Nice design arif, it reminds me of the Artega GT. Anyway here are some more sketches from our work progress:
