I need to do something about the stacks of wheels in the garage. I could go with standard wheel racks, but I'm thinking of hanging them on the wall individually. This is mostly because I like the extra wheels I have, they look pretty and I like to look at them. Are there any solutions for this? Easy ideas to build?

First thing that came to my mind was shelf bracket. Something like THIS. Maybe add some padding on top to protect the wheel. You should be able to find on that fits your wheel depth.

The bottom corners of that are a head injury waiting to happen. Besides, I don't want to see a rack of tread, I want to see wheels, hung like art.

In reply to Wxdude10: Yes, pretty much something like that. Maybe. Though I keep thinking something like a hose hanger, but without the pointy thing. Put some foam on the saddle.

I made tire racks out of 3/4" electrical conduit. I'd post a picture but I'm not going to the trouble of uploading it to some other website so I can link a URL to a picture that's on my computer right now.
