Help me find an FJ40

Took the kids to school today in the FJ and there just happened to be someone with a 2018 Landcruiser. I parked next to them .

Note the best pictures, it ended up being the mom of a girl that goes with one of my kids and she was amazed what her car looked 40 years ago :)

I was going through the glovebox and found this 12v light with a regular plug at the end.

I then looked closer and there is a receptacle inside the glovebox!

So I went ahead and plugged it in:

Pretty cool!! Looks like its the first time it has been used in 40 years.

Removed the hardtop and installed a soft top. Few other changes as well. 

Heat index is in the 100s down here. I added an aftermarket AC, helps a lot:

What ac kit did you go with?  I’m tempted to do a disk brake swap and add power steering to mine.  The massive school bus sized steering wheel is a little annoying.

Awesome.  What size tires are you running? I’m on 33x 12.5s now,  but am debating going down to 31x10.5s.

Fixed the speedo being off too by getting one of these:

I wasnt sure whether to do it at first as I like the classic look, but its well worth it.
