Advan SA3R that 93EXCivic posted above are among my favorites, however, how do you all call yourselves wheel guys when I see not one mention of what is clearly the best split spoke design for Japanese cars, ever, the Blitz Type 03?

Admittedly, it looks a lot like the OEM R33 GT-R wheel, but you can get this one in all sorts of sizes, lip styles, colors, etc... down side is, they're stupid expensive these days. As in, this specific set that's BNIB above, costs about what an ND1 does at the moment. Not joking.

Since I know that we have some MR2 fans around here:

I love the look on the ground/shelf/display case but don't actually much like it ON cars. Not sure why.

I think CCW was the go to for the T1 cars back in the late 90s.   I really liked the look of them on the C5 corvette.

I don't remember if they were using the three piece or the Race/Mono block wheels.  I do remember being impressed on how light they were for such a big rim.

Im normally a simple 5 spoke guy like the Fikse FM5s, but I have really grown to like the 6th gen camaro 1le wheels.

Back then, likely a three-piece wheel. The later one-piece wheels are technically lighter and stiffer, but three-piece CCW Classics are a classic.

That is interesting. I just grabbed a few pics I found on a search, but having seen a couple sets in person, I love them. I should have bought a set when they were merely expensive used wheels, they're out of reach now. Fortunately... I've come across a few wheels that look close enough, but the original Blitz still probably looks the best for some reason.

I've always been a fan of the BBS RX II wheels I had on my 2003 TDI.  Nice combo of style and function:

Unfortunately, mine looked a bit like the ones above after a few years, despite being Summer-only wheels.

Another vote for M Parallels. I love them on every car I've seen them on. Not a fan of the 65s, but then not really a fan of the E39 M5... (I know, sacrelidge, but I love the E38) My old car:

And the one previous to that had some nice lace spokes, as well (with serious lip):
