I Made A Mistake

This thing is way too nice to cut up for drifting. And all for $550.

Oops.

That doesn't look like any mistake I've ever made, and i've made most of them.

Looks like a good mistake to me. Why not just use it as a daily driver? Can't go wrong for the price.

Drive and enjoy for 2-3 years then sell it for 200% profit

That's much better than the last mistake I made.

My last mistake has 17 more years before it can leave the house(sure I love her I guess, but definitely an unplanned mistake). I think you did pretty good, especially for the price. Just paint it black and white, then it'll save you from future mistakes

No, the mistake would involve what could happen in a back seat that large.

What do you need right now? Want to DD it? Go ahead. What to drift it? Carefully remove the interior, trim, and any other pieces that get butchered in p71s and sell them to someone, likely from here(didn't someone just by a p71 for $1500 that needs a civie interior?)

Or I could buy a crashed Mark 8 and swap in the 4v Intech, ECU, and trans. Cheap aerobody 4v.

My worst automotive mistake was rolling a 6 month old 1986 CRX into a ditch. My only consolation is that the parts might have gone to a good cause. Your "mistake" is the right kind to make.

Gotta ask, did you ask forgiveness or did your parents cave on the idea and allow you to buy "a grandpa car"?

Dont worry about hacking it up. I started thinking the same thing about my old $400 volvo 740 turbo thinking, "my its fared the years so well i dont now if I should mess with it" so a month later i had a bigger turbo, massive front mount, home brew meth injection and had fun with it for a year until the differential exploded. What did i do? Throw in a junk yard diff? No i yanked all the goodies including engine and trans out and crushed it. Never felt bad at all. Basically what im saying is theres a million volvos or panthers, that one is yours, you spent your money on it so do whatever you like and forget the resale or whatever cause if you want to drift it, it might get totaled anyways so screw it! Hack and build for this is grm home of the hack and build nutjobs.

Edit: and that poor volvo I crushed? I made more money crushing it and parting it out than i would have selling it whole. That and some of its goodies live on in my girlfriends wagon so its like it was an organ donor and her hear still lives on.

Buy, hack, crash, crush, rinse, repeat.
