Thank you.
I'd have a hard time believing that this came down from Canada to late 60s Connecticut. I'm sure that my neighbor was the original owner, and that the tractor was never repainted. It's 100% original in that photo.
I had this thing for at least four or five years, but I can't find another picture of it at this point. It's probably been gone since about 1983, but I'm sure I could still take it apart with my eyes closed.
This is a promising lead:
Berbro Mustang Lawn Tractor, Model 25-5
Not the same tractor, but the hood design, logo and foot rests look very similar.
I am absolutely convinced that it was a Berbro Mustang of some sort.
Thank you, Zombie thread!

Cool little lawn tractor, but I really want one of these to park at the top of my lot so I can give directions by saying "turn right at the Lamborghini"

Might as well grab a Porsche too. "Turn right between the Lamborghini and Porsche"

David Bradley continued to manufacture their own tractors in Canada, and IIRC you're not far from the border. Possible it was a DB from Hockeystan?
Interestingly enough (had to look this up) Roper bought the Bradley Plant in 66, then Electrolux bought Roper, then Husqvarna bought Electrolux, and now they're all owned by American Yard Products group with the exception of Husqvarna which spun off on its own.
The style is definitely mid-late 60s. I copied the picture and I'll see what else I can find out.
This is off subject but my old shop in Bradley Il was IN the David Bradley factory, it was then roper and I believe Sears after that. It was an awesome old factory along the railroad tracks there. The railroad tracks ran through a section of our shop which was about half the first floor. Anyway; that Mustang is pretty awesome looking.
Woohooo! Looks like we have enough scent for a bloodhound to finish the details!
Those pictures came from an eBay ad for a brochure, and that's the only info on them that I can find on the web.
So, it seems Woody owned a Mustang before he owned a car.

That's true, but then my first car was a Mustang.

So back Lambago and a front Porch
So, the things I don't know about farming are almost limitless, but... that Porsche has two extra seats, facing each other over the wheels behind the driver. What do the people on those seats do? Or are they just catching a semi-comfortable ride back to the barn?
Hold my beer bro (Berbro)
I love it when this thread gets paddled back to the front page!

Two years down the road, after a canoe... Lots of tractors built for European markets are partly transportation. We had a Massey 90 when I was a kid, which was an English design, and it had a 26 mph high gear.
