So my GT has remained in the garage for the winter with a few start ups along the way.  I've noticed an annoying "tick", or maybe it's more of a "tap"?

It's most noticeable when the car is cold, though still present but to a lesser degree when warmed up to operating temperature.

I'm all over the place in terms of potential issues.  Least likely (I think) is a noisy lifter.  Other potential causes (at least on my mind) are worn plug wires, a bad or loose spark plug, or an exhaust manifold gasket.

Unfortunately I've had zero time to spend with this car over the past few months but want to get her in good shape for Spring.  Anyone care to offer an opinion after listening to this poorly-shot video?  Thank as always in advance!

Injectors. Do the screwdriver trick to them listening for the offending one(s).

Thank you!  I wondered if that was a potential cause too.  Might be time for an upgrade!

Didn't watch the video yet but I've been chasing my header gasket leaks.  They started out acting like you described until a chunk fell out,  MLS are going back in.  One done, then other is waiting for spring.

Or a mechanic's stethescope if you want to get fancy.

But I agree, that thing sounds fine to me.
