Bout a year ago I came across a 2004 Nissan at a local tow lot which had been left and ignored by whomever wrecked it. Circa 50k miles with no signs of serious abuse aside from the one big oops.

I don't think its fixable but the parts should be nice to use in other projects. As such I ask you all this...

1) What parts on this car would be wanted by others? (Aside from the obvious motor, trans, brakes, seats and some suspension bits.)

2) Will any of these parts bolt into older Sentras without too much fuss?

3) How much might any of these parts go for on open market at the quick sell price?

4) How much would you offer for the wreck as it sits?

Right now the plan if things check out is to buy it, part out most of the car to offset purchase price and then use a few choice bit in a LeMons or 20XX build.

Thanks in advance for the info as Nissans are not my thing but think this may be too good a deal to pass up.

ECU, trans if its a manual, MAF (if the 04 uses the one I think it does), wheels, grille

go to se-r.net and ask around.

Front seats. Owners of the earlier 200sx models like the later model seats as a semi bolt in replacement.

Anyone know if the trans swaps into the previous body style w/o much issue?

The 6 speed can be swapped into a B13 or B14 but it not very economical. A couple of the parts needed to complete the swap are very spendy.

Check out the header. There is also the chance the motor may be trash/going there. The cats on some of the SERs had a nasty habit of breaking apart and getting sucked back into the engine wearing the rings/walls prematurely.

Sweet guys. Thanks for the info.

As for stuffing the trans into a B13, it may be a decent option if its been done as we have access to full machine shop type toys and can fab up stuff if I show the guys the bits we need to make.

The motor was running well enough to power the thing off the road in a hurry and has not been run at all really for about 2 years.

Still on the fence as to the car so if anyone else REALLY wants it and lives around central ohio get at me and I can point you to it. I think I may be able to bag it for less than $1000 and I feel pretty sure I can get more than that out of it in parts and scrap.
