There was an SS running around Ottawa with the Holden parts on it. Made me smile. It's the perfect car guy car - we know what it is, but it's completely invisible to everyone else.

I cross shopped the SS before I got the M3. I was very impressed but couldn't find one with a spare tire, slick top, & not red. Discussed ordering one from OZ with the local dealer but that probably wouldn't have worked because it took him 6 months from the time he ordered the one on the lot until he got it.

I'd still like to have one.

14 mpg city, 22 freeway.... Ouch! Makes that a bit hard to justify for a daily car. Not sure why the city is so much worse then a Corvette.

I think it weighs close to a 1k lbs more than the C7. That might be part of it. It's also the older LS3, not the direct injected LT1. No cylinder deactivation either, which the Corvette has.
