Kinda having a hard time following their math.
Unsure if it's miles or dollars.
Got bored and pulled the clutch master cylinder apart and I was not disappointed.
The bore is super gritty.
the plunger has damage and one seal has a slight tear.
First couple rides went well, had a misfire under any kind of load, checked plugs (super nasty) and changed the small inline fuel filter.
Cleaned the plugs, ordered some new ones and let's try again.
Runs beautifully now, clutch works great. Zero complaints on how it runs.
One major issue I have found is the front rotor is warped/bent. Abs on or off it has a weird grab or pulse when you grab it. Checking that out soon.
Front rotor is definitely bent, rear brakes are pretty smoked so I ordered front rotor, and front and rear pads. Also researching false neutral eliminator kits.
Absolutely love the bike, got some small fixing to do, but will get it how I want it in no time.
Got some goodies for the 701
After some pulling it apart, rotor is a 300mm rotor for a Enduro.
Bunch of cleaning, some new parts and now the brakes feel so amazing now.
So what I found was the top of the rotor was hitting the pads and giving my wild feelings.
The shockingly clean air filter and filter sock. All clean and oiled now and with a fresh pc racing sock.
Installed a factory pro shift fix kit! Way to cold to go ride, but I am excited to ride and see if it helps with false neutrals.
Bike has a power commander now, map switch (dual tune), launch control set-up, and under seat bag on.
Did a rear pad spring (didn't get a picture)
Safety wire setup for oil cap
Rottweiler rear master cylinder skid plate
New vanasche gas cap, wanted this since I got it day one.
Sae charger cable, and small voltage gauge and USB adapter to put in under seat bag.
Nice work; looks like you're making it your own with some useful mods!
I recently received a package with some 701 goodies in the mail; thanks a bunch! 😁
