Well did something I thought I'd never do. Bought a car on B.A.T. Now the problem is I live 20 miles east of Seattle. The car is down by Orlando Florida. I do have a brother that lives a couple hours away that is game to pick it up and hold it till I can get a transporter. Or I could just do a roadkill type adventure and fly down and fix a few things and try and drive it back? Not to sure at 59 that's something I want to do but then again it's something I haven't tried either. If someone want's to know I bought a 1969 124 coupe. Needs a little work but he say's it runs good. Thoughts?

I've done that a few times.

One when well, the other one I ended up renting a UHaul and a toter half way home.

Good luck,

That's a nice little car. I don't think I've ever seen one of those before.

3,000+ miles.  You couldn't have bought one in the US and been much farther away, ha.

Something to consider...North of St. Louis what is  the winter conditions for March?  Do they use rock salt in Nebraska, S. Dakota, Montana?  You might have to spring for enclosed trailer shipping if you want to avoid getting the car exposed to all that salt.  Additionally, on a big car hauler, there is no promise that your car will take a direct route.  If the car stays south, you'd be good but it could very well cut through Chicago on the way and you still very much get salt on the roads through Chicago in early March.
If your brother can hold the car for a while, like April, you should be clear of road salt season.
