I need to replace a NB12120, 12V 12Ah SLA battery, with NB (bolt through) terminals. I can find bookoos of 12120 variant batteries but they all have F1 or F2 (spade) terminals.
I need a 12V 12Ah or greater battery with NB terminals on the same end, that's 6" long, 3-13/16" tall, and 3-7/8" wide.
Amazon, eBay, Batteries Plus, Google, have all let me down.
Any other sources? I've seen F connector to NB adapters, but they're a little really thin compared to the original NB connectors on the dead battery.
I'm beginning to think this is a proprietary battery.
I'd go with the adapters. Think of the current draw requirements, resistance of the adapters, etc., and I think you'll be fine with them. I'd prefer to see pics, of course, but just SWAG'ing this, I'd go with the adapters.
In reply to Dr. Hess:
Battery is for a jump start box. The cables attached to the terminals are ~8Ga. Hence my apprehension using the adapters.
What do the adapters look like?
Based on the word "Highrate" in your pic I googled "12v 12ah highrate" and came up with this:

In reply to Dr. Hess:
Some google search examples, they all appear to be the same thickness as the male spade part of the adapter.
Yeah, that would be a bit iffy for a high current application. Like, trying to run 100 amps through it for starting, for example. I think 20 amps would probably be OK, especially briefly. Any idea what the actual current through there when you're using it is? 20 or 100?
In reply to Dr. Hess:
The current version of my jump box claims "200 amp surge" and has a 12 AH battery just like mine. However, mine's about 10 years old, and while it looks exactly the same I'm not sure if the specs are the same.
In reply to 1988RedT2:
Thanks, linked on that same page is the version they suggest for jump starters which would be a bit over $55 with their cheapest shipping. At that price point I'm starting to think it's time to just replace the jump box.
I bought two of these for my BMWs.

The Titanoboa computerized image is from the courtyard at the Natural History Museum at Unversity of Florida. It was a UF scientist who led the team that found the fossils.
This thread went a little sideways, however I thought I'd update it, in hopes of Google's robots finding & archiving it for anyone else with a similar problem.
From 1988RedT2's mastery of Googlefu I was able to find TD12-12A Tempest Deep Cycle AGM, Sealed Lead Acid Rechargeable Battery - 12V 12Ah
While it was more than I wanted to spend, I could find nothing with the same specs any cheaper. Nut & Bolt Terminal SLA batteries this small are as rare as hen's teeth.
That solved the battery issue, however after I installed the new battery, I discovered that the AC to DC transformer/adapter for the jump starter's internal charger was no longer working. This was another challenge, as I could find nothing similar. I began thinking I'd just have to cannibalize a laptop power brick or something. I really didn't want this to be any more ghetto than absolutely necessary, so I crossed my fingers and emailed Schumacher's customer service not really knowing what to expect.
I was pleasantly surprised to a get response in less than 24 hours, with a direct link to where I could buy the exact AC to DC adapter needed.
15.6V 600 mA, part number AD-1660600AU Schumacher Internal Charger For Jump Starter DC Power Source PS-120A Mighty Mite
When it was all said and done though, I spent about 2/3 of the cost repairing mine as it would have to just have bought the new version on Amazon. It was one of those "practical Christmas presents" from Dad over a decade ago, so there's some slight sentimental attachment, silly I know. Now that it's working again I can hopefully get another 10+ years out of it.
Success!
Thanks for the help everyone!
