The best deal I've ever seen on McIntosh gear...
Just over $3k for everything within under 12 hours left. The MC207 alone is worth $6500.

All that nice equipment and a crappy Monster Power power conditioner. BTW if anyone has that model they go bad on strange weird ways. I've run across multiple that were bad over the years.

Yeah conservatively the Mc components alone are worth $12-15 in the current secondary market. It honestly makes me wish that I had unloaded or could unload a lot of my Marantz and Harman Kardon gear to be able to get in on it. As that is truly a forever setup. I would only have a second receiver for outdoor speakers.
I had my finger on the button ready to bid $4,000. But that was all that I could reasonably do right now, and it quickly got out of hand.

This was 100% going to be a flip for me. As badly as I've always wanted some McIntosh gear... I more badly want $4-9k.
I've been dragging my feel selling my Magnepan 3.3s. If I had the money in my picket from those, I'd have bid on that stuff for sure.

Huge steal. Can probably double your money on that, or else you've got an insanely good deal on awesome stuff. But I couldn't go that high, unfortunately.

I live in an RV, so I don't really have a use for it. I'd actually like to convert our whole entertainment system to 12V stuff.
I would have sold all of my listening gear except for the Maggies, KG4s and my NAD receiver to run outdoor speakers. And actually would have kept all of the MC stuff.
I would have recouped more than half of the purchase price from selling stuff off that I already have. My current living room is only 12x16 though so I don't even have space for the Maggie's to breathe as it is. The buyer is a member of a local audiophile Facebook group that I posted it in, he's breaking it up, keeping the processor, which is sad to me, but others in the group are buying everything else. He's effectively going to pay nothing for the processor, but everyone else is still getting a super sweet deal as he's breaking even instead of profiting in the end. I would at least set everything else up once to give it a proper listening before breaking it up, but that's just me.
I am an audiophile, and I know that McIntosh is some good stuff, but I also believe that there is a point of diminishing returns with regard to audio quality vs. cost.
IMO, McIntosh has left the realm of high quality audio and entered the ethereal realm of shart that only the wealthy, or those who possess more money than brains, would ever purchase.

I feel that way regarding anything above them. It's like purchasing a racecar that's far more capable then the driver, where you'll never even get 80% of the capabilities out of it because you're simply not good enough. There is a finite range as to what the human ear can hear that nobody can exceed but we're all capable of enjoying what's within our own range.
I have left the group on Facebook that I shared it with. The purchaser is a cool guy but a piece of equipment is being bought from the purchaser by the head of the group who is just overjoying about it and talking about what a fine he made, when it was literally posted to the group the buyer put in a bid, The head of the group reached out to the buyer to buy a component from him, then promptly posted in the group look at who's at the top of the bid list we're all in this together don't bid against each other. I certainly don't want or expect anything for making a find and sharing it with people. But when others act like they took a big risk because the equipment wasn't tested, Even though it's all serviceable and when you're getting it for 25% of value you can afford to get it repaired if something's wrong. And there was no fine or search or hunt involved for him It was put upon a platter for consumption buffet style.
There are shiny happy people like that within every hobby. It is why we all love this place because as frequently as such people are found in the automotive and racing world they manage to not end up here.
I'm just thankful that I don't need other people to listen to music at home.
