I had to reverse look up the car myself. It's a Dannenhauer and Srauss Cabriolet. According to Wiki produced from 1950-57 in which time they built about 100 of these beauties before it became non viable due to VW making the Karmann Ghia. I'm surprised as it's a far better looking car than the first gen KG's. Far more Prorsche-esq. I wonder what the price was compared to a 356? Funny how the separate rear fenders are a precursor to the ever expanding ass end on oil cooled 911's isn't it?

Opps, sorry. I honestly don't know. I found the pic else where and posted here. Warren (Dead Skunk) commented it's actually a Michigan car, maybe he knows more.
