Dukes of Hazard (along with M.A.S.H. and Little House on the Prairie) were all filmed in the hills surrounding my town. I’ve seen dozens of those carriers with nice cars coming into town and then leaving a few days later with some of the cars smashed up.
We used to go out to eat 5-6 nights a week before the lockdown. Since then Annie has been cooking at home. But tonight I offered to make dinner. I saw Bill Goudy make a great frittata on YT the other day, and thought I'd give it a try. So here's a photo essay on my "project." (Maybe this should go in the "Build" thread).
Veggies cut up and cheese shredded:
Just in time, Whole Foods just delivered the kielbasa, or this would have been a veggie frittata:

Veggies and kielbasa simmering:
Eggs added:
Not Bordeaux, but not bad for box wine. Bordeaux is a French red blend while this is a California red blend. Wine, and listening to the Jeffrey Foucault channel on Pandora makes the cooking project go smoother for me :

I mean, if we're showing off food...
My wife and I couldn't go to NYC for dim sum to celebrate our anniversary, so I made some from scratch.
First, ha gao:
Second, char siu:
And finally, shrimp fried rice (cuz I had a lot of leftover shrimp from dumplings in the morning):
We don't eat much meat, maybe one or two days a week at most.
Still, I do like the fare of the traditional Thanksgiving feast, so I roasted a turkey last night. I left the final steps to my wife while I went out to do yard work, and she started carving it before I came in. It turned out really well.
This will become a lot of meals after I get done making stock.
Rolled it over for the picture.
In reply to Appleseed :
Some old oven or something. Found it a short ride from my house and that was the first time I got up close on foot.
