If you're running Firefox, look at the subscribe/sample banner above. Now carefully put your cursor on any one of the magazines and drag it. Pretty cool huh?
For those who can't see it, you may think that spread of magazines above was put together as a single image and slapped on the website. Nope, each one is an individual image, layered, positioned and rotated with CSS.
In Firefox when you drag an image, you see it while you're dragging it, so you can "pull out" any of the magazines above.
Interesting.
Seems you can also copy the image location and hotlink the covers individually.
Here they are from back to front.
Doesn't work for me and I'm on Firefox 17.0.1. It doesn't view them as draggable objects, although if I right-click one of the obscured magazines and look at the image info, I'm able to see that cover.
(off to grumble something about wasted bandwidth now )
Safari does it too. But, because it's a mac, when I click on the mag, it allows me to open each of the magazines, page through them and read them. Each advert in there is a clickable link that gives me 50% off anything at that website. And, anytime there's a car going fast, my scent-o-rator puts out burned rubber and high-octane fuel smell.
See, macs are better.

If I had known macs dispensed MDMA and LSD through the mouse, I would have gotten one a long time ago.

+eleventy billion
I also have 17.0.1 and they are separate and draggable for me.

There are big versions in that directory as well, but they are oddly inconsistent in naming conventions

i know you are being silly, but that would be kind of a cool "easter egg" to hide on the website.. make each of those images a clickable hot link that lets you see a few pages of that particular issue- maybe the index or something and maybe read an article or two..
You'll need to log in to post.
