I updated my 128i suspension to (factory optional) m-sport springs and struts and also acquired some m-sport wheels. This results in different tire sizes.
How can I determine the optimal pressures for the tires (that I have not yet purchased)?
Maybe I need to go check realoem.com and see if they sell door jamb stickers .. but I suspect some of you dorks can show me the way more quickly.

You might see if your tire manufacturer has a load/pressure chart. They are readily available for truck tires, I don't know if they have them for passenger car tires.

How different is the size? If not wildly different some basic math will get you close. Beyond that, google might turn up some internet discussion about it, or go look at cars for sale and hope one has a photo of the label.
Wouldn't a car with the factory optional m-sport wheels have the revised sticker with the right information?
Otherwise, I would set them at 32 with the tread surface chalked or painted and look at how much your indicator wears off and where.
I'll check ours and report back.

I think you'll find that they're probably the same pressures within a few psi, unless you go crazy different.
The car hasn't changed weight, and within reason, it takes a certain amount of psi to suspend it correctly. I changed my van from 235/75-16 to 275/55-20, and the same psi keeps them properly inflated.
Using Hunter S. Thompson's novel "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" as the irrefutable authority on this subject, you should inflate the tires to the maximum listed on the sidewall, at least.

Does the yellow sticker say 36 and 44?

That's the sticker! Pressures are the same as 205's all around - so "good to know". Thanks
And thanks to everyone else too, for responding
I'm surprised that there isn't an all encompassing sticker in the fuel door.
