I live 10 minutes from the Oregon District in Dayton, myself and everyone I seem to know is ok. Although SWMBO's daughter's friend had a parent there that was 6" from someone that got shot. Yesterday was a rough day (I've been that area many many times)

And there was a mass stabbing in Southern California a few days ago as well.
It only reinforces my, and my better half, desire to get 15-20 acres here in middle Oklahoma and just do our thing. If you aren't expected and come up the laneway, you'd have some 'splaining to do.
25 years ago I was at the Oregon district a lot. Many times at Ned Peppers. It's where we drank Zima and Alabama Slammers. This one hit very close to home.
And now there was a guy that walked into a Walmart and asked to buy something that would kill 200 people. Another walked in in body armor and a weapon, took videos with his camera and left. He has been arrested and charged.
