The AFM can be used on a miata but it's from an S4 RX7. Allegedly it adds 5 hp above like 6k or something.
Those towels were all I could find at my parent's house for decent packing material. They did seem awfully excited to get rid of them...
mazdeuce - Seth said:There was other stuff in the box, and I'll post it up in a bit, but this HAD to be applied immediately.
I'm blown away. Can you win Christmas? I think I won Christmas.
E36 M3, I thought I had box of the year locked. I might have lost. That's incredible.
Ransom said:Finally got my box into the mail yesterday (sorry, $RECIPIENT!), only a few days after receiving one from my secret Santa...
Speaking of which... Stuff! And things!
That's most all of it; some stuff is hilarious, some stuff is universal garage cruft, and some stuff is useful! (You can never have too many combo screwdrivers. They're like guitar picks; you should just have so many of them stashed here and there that they're always to hand). There's also a particularly useful item missing, which I may explain later, but I already had three of them, and it would be genuinely useful to someone who didn't have one, so, I, uh, regifted it.
Anyhow, thank you, secret Santa! That was awesome!
The 2002 WRX literature is awesome. I was so excited when those arrived, though I was not near being able to acquire one at the time, but the sheer existence of it, and Subaru's (apparent) enthusiasm for autocross, etc... It was a heady moment!
I have to give extra humor points for the 12V Febreeze:
I kinda figure the cars I own fall into one of two categories: Ones which are too far gone for that to help, or ones where Febreeze isn't going to be an improvement.
This is probably the funniest, though:
The extra humor comes from the confusion for this urban-living guy who gets outdoors mostly to ride a bicycle. I'm currently trying to figure out how to safely dispose of it, or whether my brother in law, who does hunt, might use it. OTOH, I don't know if there are red foxes where he lives; I'm guessing it's no help masking human scent with something else that would make a game animal go "*sniff sniff*. W... T... F?"
Also, really glad it wasn't Redd Foxx urine.
Glad you enjoyed it. The Fox Urine was something that I got from last year's GRM Secret Santa and it was the subject of many funny jokes over the year (my kids got it in their stockings, their lunch bag at school, their birthday presents, etc) so I hope you can use it or keep the joke going another year.
Finally got around to posting my stash, thanks so much for this awesome haul!
Prince Albert in a can, it's a real thing!
Wicked awesome shirt, and in a Large so I have to stick to my diet. Inspiration! Motivation!
This is something I can use...for something...eventually. I just know it.
And a hand drill! I've never had one, I am so excited to drill holes with it!
Such cool stuff, thanks again to my secret Santa, you know how you are!
Edited - tried to resize pics but it's just not working for me, apologies. I miss when photobucket wasn't 100% garbage.

Good Sleuthing Mrs. Deuce
My name is on there; Thanh - rhymes with John, one of those foreign names that starbucks always butchers lol
Unicorn-bird (Screaming-Unicorn? Fire-Unicorn? FireCorn Of Destruction?) YAAASS!!! So glad the foam kept it from being crushed, seeing it on the <Jezza voice> "most famous R63 AMG... in the world." made my day.
I had so much fun putting that one together. Wishing I went bigger now- it doesn't do your hood justice.
I gave the unicorn a mullet, should have put a sparkle or something on the horn. Looks like I also forgot to weed the bottom star on one of the GROSH logo stickers.
You're giving me too much credit for the designs, I just steal images from google then mash them together in photoshop. Also, Vector Magic.
The Grosh logo was a fish-bulb of these;
Unicorn-bird was a fish-bulb of a Screaming Chicken and the Unicorn above
If you shoot me your email address I can send you the .eps files
Hong Dong charger is for the 18650 batteries in the flashlight. Just don't leave it unattended as I read (after the box went out) that brand battery is hit or miss.
The light/battery/charger are new, I got a matching set at the same time but haven't used it long enough to say it's good or not.
Bottle opener I bought just a hair too late to send out for last years game. Good thing I sent it this year, I believe they're labelled "assault bottle openers" and now banned in CA.
Watch book and towel rack I had laying around.
Can cozy, glasses, towel, other promo items are from SEMA 2016/2017 care of my sister's boyfriend.
Vader keychain and Lakers pull tab previously belonged to my son. Vader's feet are LEDs. Dim ones.
Lugnuts came with the set of G35 wheels I put on my IS300 temporarily while I was refurbishing my wheels.
LS400 manual was from my dad's 1993 that is in the final stages of being chopped up for scrap in my garage.
Apparently Lexus still prints new manuals, I called and they sent it to me no charge.
SAE wrenches were regifted from last year's game. I kept the metric set for myself and sent a different set in it's place.
Misc stuff ... interior bulb adapters for LED conversions, some LED 194 lights, some driver bits and a microsd adapter, forget what else.
Also realized after the box went out; I forgot to throw in some other junk I had been setting aside and the aformentioned googly eye. Dammit. Too excited I guess.
Happy to read you enjoyed unboxing it as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Sorry about Deuceling1's eyes and the camera's untimely death. Happy New Year!

Prince Albert in a can, it's a real thing!
...Then you'd better let him out!
Glad you enjoyed going through the box. Did you notice the note on the bottom of the Hotwheels? That was the best I could do on no-effort :)
Please let me know if you do drill holes with that thing, I have been meaning to use it for years and never got around trying.
That distribution block is a mechanical oil injector for a 2nd generation Rx-7 (FC chassis, 1986-1988).
The pulleys & chain are a from the same engine, it's the oil pump pulley. I had been planning on doing something cool (art-wise) with those for years. Now they're off the work bench! Score!
Following David's lead and made an unboxing video of my loot. You can watch me ramble on for a full three minutes as I wade through the box full of awesome sent by Robbie. As soon as I saw who the box was from, I knew I should attempt to record the glory out in the shop with my exxie watching.
Robbie, thank you so much for this gift! I'm so thrilled to put all these items to use on my Fiat.
TLDW: I got a box full of great stuff I can actually use, including seatbelts and window/door seals for my X1/9.
I'm assuming my package arrived in the Chicagoland area by now. I shipped it out over a week ago, but lost the tracking number as well.
Mine went to PA a while ago, hope it arrived.
A box arrived last night, pics and description to follow.
In reply to Mezzanine :
I think that this Secret Santa pick was not so random. How did one of the only members with an x1/9 get the other x1/9 owner. I smell a conspiracy!

I know who it went to, they got it, just haven't posted pics yet.

Out Saturday at 10:30am. Arrived Monday at 3:30pm according to tracking. Pretty darn fast.
Tracking shows the box I sent arrived yesterday. Last night we opened and photographed. Much fun (and sniffing) was had. My wife, myself, and Sunny (woof!) each had different favorites. I'll have time to host the pics tonight/tomorrow. Thanks, Mezz!!
My package arrived a few days ago... all the way from VA.
Just getting around to posting pictures.
Who knew I needed a CB/weather radio, and stickers, and hot wheels, and c-clamps, and a PA map from the 90s (with a circle near a secret place I have visited for work), and a steering hub adapter, and a license plate, and a column mount tach...
I think I can find a use for almost all of this stuff.
Now I even have a hat that ID's me to the rest of the unsuspecting world...
Thanks.

I think I might want to take a crack at that unicorn on the CNC Plasma. I will shoot you my email. I just need a jpg or PDF.
I am starting to wonder if my box ever reached it's destination. I'm pretty sure I tossed the receipt...
Furious_E, you out there, bud?
