Seems legit........it should be an m50 or m52 though. Plus I wouldn't pay over a grand for a ti with a sunroof. I would make the person pay me to take a cali topped car though.
I'm thinking about trying to flip it. Maybe it's just a bad fan or fan relay. I seem to remember there were common fan issues with these? Value Pack: glad you liked it. It's a residual component of my ghetto upbringing.
Given that it's in Detroit, the CARB referee's opinion is probably not critical.
I suspect JThw8 might be closer to the truth, but the test drive and inspection will tell the tale. Cash!
Seems legit. Ive never seen a Craigslist scam. You should see the sweet Robrex watch I got last week! It matches the Nikey Air Jorduns I got at the flea market.
it's been for sale for a while. it was $2k about 2 weeks ago. if the probe was already gone, this car would be in my garage.

looks like its either an M52 2.5L (323i) or 2.8L (328i) based on the location of the oil fill and the later intake manifold
seems awfully cheap to me if it doesnt have engine damage, but if the rest of the car isnt too bad then another engine might still be worthwhile to swap in. i'd want a pre-96 so it didnt have to pass obd2 inspection scanning if it were me, though a proper swap shouldnt be that hard to make right anyway.
I thought about looking at this, then realized I want a 318ti as reliable, decent to drive, economical transportation.

This is Michigan, there are no emissions, exhaust laws are not enforced. Every car I have ever owned has spent significant time without a muffler or has had some massive exhaust leak. The Yugo no longer has a cat, air pump, egr, evap and heat riser.
