Decals are on and clear is laid!

The body is mounted to the chassis finally!
Just bumpers, extensions, and exhaust to go now. I'll be done tonight.

Another great build.
My chassis is finally together. Yeah, it's black.
Well, unless my wife let's me out of isolation to go up to the room I was working in I will not be done with the C7.R tonight. I was tagged as close contact to a student with a positive Covid test and have to isolate. I am beyond bored. Can't do anything but wait to get tested on Saturday, then wait up to two days for the results. Unfortunately my vaccination was less than 14 days from exposure or I'd be in the clear. I may go out to the garage after she leaves the house to putter around tomorrow. But I'm staying out of any specific place she might have to go. She owns a store and can't afford to close for quarantine. Being extra careful. In all likelihood I'm not positive for Covid because of the care we both take to be safe. Ugh.

That turned out great!
@vwcorvette: Sorry you're temporarily out of commission.
Month is over. Did only one get finished?
What's up for April? I just painted a body yesterday on a new project.
Since I posted the prize, someone needs to win. It certainly isn't me. I ran low on interest in the Lola for several reasons. I might finish it, but not real soon, others are calling me. I know what I am doing for May, and the prize should go to someone equally inspired. Prize is a choice of one of the following: Castrol Reynard Toyota , Miller Penske Chevrolet, or MAC Tools Lola-Buick. All from the CART era. Who gets it???

I think most everyone was burned out and needed a break. I am working on building a new model building space so I'm not sure that I'm in either.

Hope you stay ok!
I had it a few weeks ago, and managed to get my replacement Richard Petty 200th win GP done while in quarantine.
I'm going to have to take a break too. Now that the weather is warming up, I've run out of excuses for avoiding yard work.
Love the Matador and the Grand Prix!
I just realized that the very first model contest was last April, so we did 12 months in a row solid. Yeah, we should probably take a break until May.
Yup, I'm ok with taking a break from themed builds in April. I will continue to work on some of my unfinished builds and refocus for May.
Still trying to get the bodywork smooth on the X-1. Not a process I want to rush.

That is one pretty Matador. I'm really glad it came out nice after how much work you had to do to it.
Waiting to take my test Saturday AM. I should be fine. I've been vaxxed, but the contact happened within the 14 day window. I'd have worked on the model but it's not in the same part of the house I'm isolated in. I too need a break however. I'll finish the C7.R next week. Then I'm taking a while to slowly build the 1:20 scale Vette I picked up. Got some ideas for customization including trying to replicate the shark bite rear coil over set up.

The car that started it all: the lil red corvette (1:32 scale)
I took March off, so I'm not feeling burnt out. I've got two kits 'in stock' at present and need to order a third I've been putting off because of the price ($50!). If I do any in the interim I'll just do a thread to keep you posted. Don't really care to 'win' anything; I just like the push to get them done. But the current one is a bone stock Mustang build so isn't anything special.
So who won March? I have no theme idea for April, but May should be Indy cars, which is why the March prize is one of those.

Do pace cars count?
