I was merely pointing out that in Florida ~2% of the population has tested positive and currently has an active infection. They get it.

Also, i don't see the political slant. Data is data.

Humor = tragedy + time and/or distance.
I don't know anyone on a personal level that has been hit with COVID, but I know people that know people that have, and everyone in my social circle and myself have had to wait for someone to call us back and tell us if we caught it due to being in close enough proximity to someone who did have it.
I didn't find it offensive, but its too soon and too close for me to find it anything but tactless at best. YMMV.
