Y'all got nothing on California...
My favorite situation with that was when I lived in Germany. "Where are you from?" California. "*Just* California?" California is bigger than Germany. "...What?"
Thank you.
I expected thashane to post something like this but you beat him to the punch. There were many times I had to explain to Yurpeans that I was from California, but somehow not LA or San Francisco, did not live near the beach, did not know any celebrities, and was in fact very familiar with this "snow" they were excited to introduce me to.
It's a big state...
Meme unrelated.
Oh so you guys must both surf right?
Single digit dates need a zero so that they are in the proper order when sorted.
ALSO. 21/02/2012 was arguably that date so far. 22/02/2022 is the next one.

Every time I see memes like those, all I can think of is "Yes, that's how math works".

"Big state". So cute.
Let me tell you about land mass...if California was in Canada, it would be 7th out of 11 provinces. And that doesn't count the three territories, one of which we cut in half 20-odd years ago and the smaller chunk is still twice as big as Texas.
But some things are pretty much consistent across that land mass. Except for Vancouver, we don't talk about Vancouver.
