I clicked the link. Really wish I hadn't.
Additional confession: I have never driven a miata.

I was never sure whether he was crying or laughingI remember that show, it's very much like that only Alan would play off of the schtick. I really think the sports guy is oblivious to the pain he puts his co-worker in. And I don't think the newscaster is aware how much his true feelings are showing no matter how hard he tries to hide it.
and the way Allan played it was one of the things that really made this one of the best shows on TV … Mikey and Ken playing the fool (one of them not really having to play LOL ) with Alan and Johnny Benson being the straight guys … too bad it went away … maybe the best part of the NASCAR weekend

I'm partial to the "puggle" myself. Though I feel the whole thing is just a way to get people to pay money for mutts.
SWMBO is a Taylor Swift fan. So I hear a lot of her music while driving. No, I don't really care for it. I've heard worse though. However, I heard this on the radio this morning. I'm not sure what's worse. That someone covered it as a hardcore song or that I recognized it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czb_CZfWko8
In reply to CGLockRacer: I was in a band that did a crappy Taylor Swift cover.

My Mark VII is for sale and not running quite right. Last night, after working 2nd shift, I found a set of 2005 Mustang GT wheels with decent tires locally for $200 obo.
This style but not the actual wheels:
Sorely tempted to snag them as I think they would look GREAT on the car...that's not running quite right at the moment. I haz a problum.

Yes, needs another 100hp.
In reply to WilD:
I've owned two, never again.
Disclaimer: I'm 6'3'' and all torso, not surprising that I wouldn't fit in a little car like that.
Totally clicked the GPS Solo link, much less offensive than the domestic violence.
I want my grandpa to die, and I want it to happen in the next week or so. He's 91. He was married to his best friend for 66 years, and she died 2 years ago. He wants to be with her. He doesn't want to wake up again.
On a funny note, I want whatever his uppers are. Holy cow do they do wonders. Make it so he can get up out of bed, take a shower, eat a sandwich, have a shot and a beer (about .5 oz of Cognac, and 5 oz of beer), then go back to bed for a nap, then get up again and watch tv. Without them he'd just be in bed all day. I don't even know what they are, some sort of amphetamine.

I bet they're a capsule that's half dark green and have medium to light green. Sounds like the stuff they have me on. Some days they even get me going enough to catch a ride into work for a few hours, I don't doubt that without them I'd be in hospice care. Sorry the hear about his condition, be sure to share a shot and beer of his liking with him soon, in fact it'd be a great way to bump up the "is it that time already thread"

I had one with him last Saturday, am going to try to have one tomorrow.
I'm not sorry about his condition; I'm sorry that he's still alive. He has had a wonderful life, and while the quality of life is still OK it is going to go downhill in a hurry soon. And he knows it.
This experience, and that with my grandma, has made me think that maybe Dr. Kevorkian had it right. If he could push that button I know he would--the guy is 91 years old, has 5 kids, 12 grandkids, 1 great grandson, 2 grand-inlaws, has had everything from Audi to Lincoln to Frasier to Cadillac, to Jaguar, and is ready to go home.
Once while in a LTR I had an older side bitch who I Berkeleyed around with, who had a side bitch or her own, who I also ended up berkeleying on the regular, along with their 20 something year old daughter and a gas station attendant whose sure to give me the full service, with lube job everytime I pulled into town. At one juncture all of us got together and had a massive 5 girls on one guy orgy and a baby happened. It was so chaotic that 9 months later we didn't even know who the mother was. This was more then 20 years ago and it ease alive to this day, but I also bet that you didn't know that Bill Cosby was a poster on this board with the sex and the regret and the who knows whose kid it is and the legal repercussion.

I forgot I had a big bowl of pickled beets last night with dinner and about had a heart attack after dropping the kids off at the pool.
Spiders. Why did it have to be spiders?
Grilling for the family, had to knock a haphazard web off the propane valve when I opened it. A minute later there was the biggest black widow spider I've ever seen in person, rappelling down from the same area. I didn't scream like a little girl, but part of me thought about it. She had probably been within a couple of inches of my hand.
And there were egg sacks nearby.
Yeah, yeah, spiders eat a lot of bugs, they're our friends, right, sure. There's not much comfort in that thought when you feel some small something on your arm in the middle of the night ...
I have the same opinion about black widows and brown recluses as I do for venomous snakes ..
yes spiders and snakes are quite useful to us … but are there any services that the poisonous ones provide that the non poisonous can't do just as well ?
