I think everyone has already covered what to do. I was married there, on a huge catamaran at sunset. The captain also performed the ceremony. Beautiful, romantic. Then, just at the end of the ceremony, my father-in-law fell onto the bow safety netting, which ripped completely through and he almost fell into the water. Took four of us to pull him up. He spent several days in the hospital and hotel bed convalescing. He (Don Pardo, NBC/Saturday Night Live) always had to get the most attention! We had to spend a lot of our honeymoon visiting with him but it was a fun time anyway.

How did he hurt himself so bad?

His back partially hit the boat and fasteners that held the netting. He was pretty beat up and was in his eighties. I grabbed him first but he weighed around 225 so all I could do was hang on until others helped. Fortunately he was still swimming an a hour a day and was very sturdy. He is an amazing guy and just retired this year at 92! The voice you hear introducing Saturday Night Live this year is not his but one of the actors emulating him.

For things to do I don't think anyone mentioned jet skis. Bars and restaurants are the top things, though.

Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the show!? (ZING!)

To the OP: Also: In the great words of my old buddy Gar (Garfield...then Garfish...then Gar. 85 year old chainsmoker whom I worked with at the literal Caddy Shack at a private golf course....)

Whenever I'd tell old Gar I was taking a chick for a night-time excursion at the beach, he'd say "Goood. Gooood. Don't let your dork hit the sand."

I always laughed and smiled. Never knew what the berkeley he was talking about until it happened. OUCH!!!

Your father-in-law is Don Pardo? How cool, I always enjoyed his style.
