Yes, yes it is. I've been trying to work through my personal existential crisis for the last 3 weeks or so. I haven't had any breakthroughs. :-(
It's really dawned on me recently that I will die someday as will my parents and other loved ones. It's...disturbing to put it mildly and I don't know how to come to terms with the eventuality. I just don't.
My sincere condolences to his family.

You'd think they could omit the "Send Flowers" button.

I will be sending a check...
Check on its way.
The weird thing, if ECM hadn't had a chance connection, would we have ever known what happened?
Yeah...there have been a lot of folks in different forums I visit that just stop posting...I always wonder if they left, or if they "left"...
I am dragging this up from the past but I just found out about this in the "Serviceable BMW thread". He and I had communicated back and forth a bunch about stuff German car related over the last couple years. I had loaned him some specialty tools I have for some projects he was working on and what not. In fact I think he must have returned them to me shortly before he passed. I sent him an email saying that I had got them back but I never heard a thing from him again.
I am so very sad to here this. He was a great guy!!!!! You will be missed Scott

Wow, Zombie thread canoe. And a hearty "berkeley you" to zulmae for doing so in a thread about a member's passing.
If only there were a way to bring back the actual person as easily as it is to resurrect a post about them....
I hope his family is doing ok.
