I'm looking at simplifying my life and getting rid of some stuff that's been in my closet since highschool(grad in 97). I know right now is not the best time for disposable income and selling junk, but I have a baby on the way and looking for some help pricing some unused items.. I'll try to describe condition and you hopefully help me decide what prices to ask...
I have a year unkown Les Paul Studio (not Epiphone) Wine red with gold hardware. It had a small crack in the neck/headstock when I bought it, supposedly repaired by a good luthier. I bought it from a reputable music store and while the guitar is not in perfect shape(she's got some scratches and dings) but it plays sooo nice. Comes with a big(read very protective) Gibson plastic clamshell case. I have no idea on worth. I can get pics if you need them..
I also have a crate vintage club all tube combo amp. 50 amp with I believe it's a single 15" speaker in the cabinet. 2 channels and she's never given me any. One small dent on a small metal grill on top.
Also a bunch of stupid pedals I'll a couple DOD one's, one junky ibanez, and a cry baby original.. Everything else is junk.. like cables and books and stuff.. I'm keeping my acoustic and tuner incase I ever feel the itch to pick it up again.
What do you think for values?

Can't put a finger on values, but ballpark, I'm guessing you could get a solid $500-600 out of the guitar and amp in the hands of a good buyer.

I generally use eBay as a general guide for values (as I see you're already starting to peruse...).
The LP Studio is still in production and generally sells for around a grand on the street (I was jsut in a Guitar Center last Saturday...). The damage, however, could hurt it's value greatly. Even repaired. For example, I have a '71 Les Paul. Normally a multi-$K guitar... however, it also has repaired headstock damage... and even after I get the DPO scalloped fretboard fixed, I think I'd be lucky to get over a grand for it. A Studio (I have one of these as well, but it's an '81) with headstock damage... I'm gonna say $500... tops. Loved that case... pissed when mine got damaged in a basement flood... not water-tight in the least...
A a 1x15" guitar amp? Gonna be a small market for that puppy... sure it's not a 1x12"?
Pedals: basically... go on some online vendor's site and look at current prices... figure on about 50% for used values. I rarely spent more than $20 on a pedal back in the day... and pedal prices haven't seem to have changed much on 20 years...
Good luck... I have a few things I want to unload as well... rack stuff, mainly tho...

Search Ebay for the guitar, find out how much they are going for. I'd figure that you'd get at least 700-800 for the Les Paul. Good fake Les Paul's can go for as much 400 (not even Epi's).

Well I'll be damned... good luck with it. Can't imagine what a 15" full-range speaker must sound like... I bet dropped tunings would be brutal-sounding...

Yeah, I'd say you should be in about the same neighborhood for the amp, since it specs out similarly to the Peavey Classic series.
Actually, I just picked up a Peavey Blues Deluxe 1x15" (same as their Classics, with built-in tremolo) needing a little work for a song. On a certain level, it's a shame that these amps are so underrated, but at the same time, it's good for us players who aren't brand whores. Not that I wouldn't mind being a brand whore if a rep came knocking with a tidy endorsement check...
I'll dig all my junk out tonight. I'll take pics for fun and post.
The year is going to make a big difference for the LP, even a studio. If you post up the serial I can look it up.
its a 94 by the serial # search engine I looked up..
I took a picture of the serial # stamp on the back of the headstock.... If that didn't work I'll dig it up later today.
