^ I went with the latter, much more fun that way.

Year you were born is how I understood the rules.
I was born in 1970. Like Doc Blade said, there are simply too many to list...
1958 Jensen 541R.
Fiberglass body with a 6 cylinder Austin drivetrain. The cooling air intake could be controlled by the driver.
Car and Driver top 10 cars for 1989: Acura Legend Coupe Corvette Dodge Colt Turbo Ford Probe GT Taurus SHO Honda Accord Honda Civic Lincoln Continental Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo Saab 9000 Turbo
Not a great year if you ask me...

I've owned a few, and currently own two from my birth year, both '63 Mercury Comets (a 2 door hardtop and a convertible).
The age between my oldest car (a 72 Midget) and my newest (a 96 Civic) is greater then my age (24>21).
1974, last blast for leaded gas! ( at least for factory built spec.) last year for Corvette roadster w/big block, last 'Cuda and Challenger. You could option up a cool K5 or 240Z. 1st year for Super Duty Trans Am!
Someone was having trouble with 1980. Trans-Am turbo, Citation X-11, Last L-82 Vette, didn't Ford offer a 302 Fairmont as a cop car around then?
RexSeven wrote: Well, I see 1985 is covered pretty well... though I would like to add this fast-but-ugly creation (kinda like me, minus the fast part ) I haven't owned a car that was built the same year I was born, but my Mazda RX-7 is less than a year younger than me (built in '86 for the '87 model year).
Mosler's been a big supporter of the magazine over the years, and one of the biggest when they first got started, IIRC. Kinda fitting that there'd be one on the thread.

Giant killer, unless you already tower over the valley.......

Closest I've come was my old TR-4. IIRC, it was a 64 (it had the solid rear axle instead of the IRS). Years ago, I went looking for an old BMW 1500 4-door, but the only three I found required more welding skill than I possess (which would actually be..none ).
