In reality, I'll be happy when I have enough time and money to do what I want with the 5-6 cars I already have.

From what I've seen the value of an 80's F1 car varies greatly depending who drove it. That is an interesting question, regardless: What does happen to last year's F-1 car? I could see a company like Ferrari storing them until they reach vintage age and then selling them off to vintage racers (insert mental image of some warehouse in Italy packed with out-of-date Ferrari F-1 cars...)

Lotus Evora. Arctic Silver metallic. Main squeeze DD.

Some kind of SUV with seats and decent tow capacity, probably a Sequoia because I likes reliability. This would be the DD for going out to dinner, towing the race car, etc. Color not real important except I'm tired of black.

Jensen GT. Add FI and paint it Mustang White to match my J-H.

Lotus Elise. Red. Nastified track car.

Ford GT because snorty V8 sound. White with blue stripe.

Then the usual motley collection of crap to modify etc., scads of dirt bikes and dual sports, you name it. Jay Leno would probably look to me for inspiration.

2: Ariel Atom 500 (weekend/daily)

3: 427 TT 2nd generation s-series with AWD, yes it's been done before. (daily)

4: Mildly modded C4 corvette (daily), or heavily modded with daily reliability.

5: Ultima GTR with too many torques (daily/weekend)

Ask me tomorrow and it will change, probably add a mildly done classic muscle or big old caddy.

I'd start with enough shop/equipment to rebuild my old Econoline into one of those "You did all of that to that worthless heap?!?! kind of projects,

FR-S for the wife because she really wants one (and I will conveniently not mention all of the much more expensive cars she likes)

I'd see if I could get an all aluminum PP 4-rotor in my RX8 in any street legal way, otherwise I would try to cram it into an NA miata to do..uh... something.

The FR-S for the wife
The van thing (focus on making it an awesome road trip/car hauler)
BRE Aerovault trailer + Spec miata + pay for some racing
then whatever I feel like buying after that

I think it really depends on where the lotto is at... A million dollars to play with would be a lot different than 50 million.

Cars would be fourth or fifth on my list anyway.
